![]() I consider the raw conversion critical and would never feed raws to Ptgui, instead use tifs from C1. In your situation I would simply convert the raws to a tif/jpg and then your pano software can process them. It is pano software so not really relevant to upgrade every year. Yes, expensive initially but it is perpetual software and I only upgrade every 3/4 years when the new version has something I want. I use Ptgui Pro as I feel it is the best for me. Should I convert to dng and load in auto pano giga? Maybe there is a way to update its raw engine What panaroma/stiching software do you use?ĭo you think that can i update autopano giga 4.4 raw engine ? IT is based on on DCRAW I have tried hugin e seems to be a great software ,but autopano giga 4.4 had a great fusion blend feature, honestly i don't you, but i get the best panorama with it.Ībout hugin, I tried yesterday but if can give me great results like autopano giga 4.4 or ptgui pro, i will support it with a donation Ptgui pro is too exensive € 249 or even more the site report € 303.78 Thank you very much for using the affiliate links here (including the ebay listing) to support 360 Rumors at no additional cost to you so I can do more tests and reviews.I really love kolor autopano giga 4.4, sadly after some years I bought, it 's gone, no more updateĪ friend of mine gave me a cool mirrless Fujifilm new camera, i have taken a lot of picture to create a panoramaĪutopano giga 4.4 can 't read the new Fujifilm new camera raw files ,sadly Please note: I don’t know who the seller is and I have no relationship with them. ![]() I would have considered getting this rig myself if I didn’t already have the Insta360 Pro and a 6-camera GoPro rig (yes I will post about it next time). B&H has the rig (without the cameras and without the software) for $2221. By comparison, the 8K Insta360 Pro (reviewed here) is $3500. It also includes an external V-mount battery. According to the listing, you get both Autopano Video Pro AND Autopano Giga ( worth $250). The cool thing about this eBay listing is that the software is included (as is the dock for the Micro SD cards). That means that as long as you insert the Micro SD cards correctly in the USB dock, you don’t have to worry about mixing up the videos:īesides having to insert the Micro SD cards correctly, it seems very similar to the workflow for GoPro Fusion actually.Īutopano Video Pro is not cheap at around $750. ![]() That’s because Autopano Video has a utility called Omni Importer, which can automatically match the Hero 4 Black videos with each other, and can even show you a preview of the equirectangular image. ![]() As an aside, the Hero 4 Black sounds old but it actually has the same sensor as the GoPro Hero 5 Black, so its sensor is technically only one model away from the cutting edge Hero 6.īesides its excellent image quality, the Omni also has a much easier and more elegant workflow compared to conventional 360 camera rigs. The Omni consists of six GoPro Hero 4 Black cameras, which can each shoot at 4K 30fps. The GoPro Omni is one of the most popular professional 360 camera rigs. Spotted on eBay: complete GoPro Omni rig for $1800 (or get a brand new one for $2300). ![]()
